This is a sources sought for small, CERTIFIED 8(a), HUBZONE, VETERAN-OWNED, WOMAN-OWNED and/or SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS firms interested in submitting a proposal for an upcoming Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineer Requirements (SABER) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract to be performed at the 910th Airlift Wing, Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Trumbull County, Vienna OH 44473-5931. A Set-Aside of one of the socio-economic programs listed above, is being contemplated. Estimated value of the acquisition is NTE $25,000,000 over a 5-year period. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220; the Size Standard is $31,000,000. Based on responses to the original sources sought notice, the solicitation IS NOW RESTRICTED TO FIRMS LOCATED IN GEOGRAPHICAL REGIONS OF OHIO AND PENNSYLVANIA. The final determination regarding set-aside type will be made by the Contracting Officer. The contract will include a wide variety of individual construction tasks as identified and based on the prices from the latest R.S. Means Master Cost Data and an applied coefficient. Firm Fixed price delivery/task orders will include a variety of trades including, but not limited to, excavation, utilities, roofing, siding, electrical, painting, plumbing, carpentry, roads and parking lot construction. It is anticipated that the performance period for this contract will consist of one base year with four option years. Responses must include the following information: (1) Name, Address, Phone, Fax, e-mail and DUNS number and CAGE Code of the firm and/or any joint venture firm; (2) A list of no more than five SABER, Job Order Contract (JOC), or other SABER type construction contracts your firm/joint venture currently holds or has completed within the last three years. For each relevant and recent contract listed, include the firms/joint venture point of contact name, contract number, location(s), description, yearly and total values, performance dates, and contracting officer or contract administration point of contact information, including address, phone and fax numbers, (3) A statement identifying the interested firm/joint venture's bonding capacity. Limit your responses to no more than 5 pages. RESPONSES ARE DUE NO LATER THAN 3 JANUARY 2012, 2:00 P.M. EST. The Government shall not pay and/or reimburse respondents and/or associates for any costs incurred to submit the requested information. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201(c), response to this RFI is not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This RFI is issued for information, market research and/or planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation.
