- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. C3-RC, Bldg 60, Rock Island, IL has a requirement for Cooling Unit. This is a streamlined combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only notice. A written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is issued as a request for quote. The issue date for this solicitation is estimated to be on or about 10 Dec 2011. Response date above is estimated. Actual proposal due date will be specified in the solicitation and may be earlier or later than 15 Dec 2011. Delivery date is 30 ARO. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. A firm is considered to be a small business if its average number of employees for the past 12 months does not exceed 100. NAICS 423740, Refrigeration Equipment and Supplies Merchant Wholesalers. Issued solicitation packages will be posted at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website, https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ (go to Contracting Opportunities Search, Select Contracting Office: ACC- Rock Island C3, then Continue button). Interested offerors are required to download the solicitation and any subsequent amendments from this website. Once posted on the website, interested offerors are responsible for monitoring the website until the closing date for any issued amendments or changes. This is a new requirement.
