- Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Pacific (SSC Pacific), on behalf ofDefense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), is soliciting proposals in accordancewith Department of Defense Grant and Agreement Regulations (DoDGARS)22.315(a) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 35.016, for basic research,applied research and advanced research in areas relating to the advancementof technology to meet DoD requirements for chemical, biological, and pandemicdisease defense. Proposed research should investigate unique and innovative approaches for:-rapid detection and diagnosis of chemical and biological threats (to includechemical, viral, bacterial, and protozoan);-dissemination of information to local, state, and federal authorities foraction;and-defining and developing next generation capabilities in chemical, biologicaland pandemic disease defense.
