- The Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center (MCMWTC) Bridgeport, CA intends to award a contract on a Sole Source basis to D and S Waste Removal, Inc. 3 US HWY 95A E, Yerington NV 89447, for the following items and quantities: CLIN 0001: Rental of two 30-yard roll-off bins with open top for a period of 12 months (Period of Performance: 1 Jan 2012 “ 31 Dec 2010). CLIN 0002: Waste Collection. Removal of solid waste from rented roll-off bins. Quantity: 32 Each. Market Research and acquisition history for similar services show that D and S Waste Removal, Inc. is the only waste collection contractor in close proximity to MCMWTC Bridgeport, CA. Thus, the remote location of MCMWTC makes D & S Waste Removal, Inc. the only responsible contractor for this service requirement. This purchase will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a Single Source. MCMWTC Bridgeport, CA has determined that no other sources are available. This notice is not a Request for Quote, however, vendors may identify their interest and capability. All inquiries received by the Government before December 19, 2011 at 12:00 PM (Pacific) will be considered to determine if the Government will conduct a competitive procurement. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
