Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 23 (NCO23), located at 708 South Third Street, Suite 200E, Minneapolis, MN 55415, intends to solicit proposals for enterprise 3D visualization software. NCO23 contemplates award of a one-year, firm-fixed-price contract for software license(s), equipment, training, installation and implementation services along with four (4), one-year options for software license support/maintenance and training. The enterprise 3D visualization software system contemplated will be commercially available, off the shelf software, proven to be in current use within a multiple location, large hospital and affiliated clinics environment. The Government does not contemplate award for developmental or beta versions of enterprise 3D visualization software. The proposed solicitation number for this effort is VA263-11-R-0101. The estimated date that this solicitation may be published is December 27, 2011. The estimated date that proposals may be due from any solicitation issued subsequent to this presolicitation notice is February 2, 2012. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 511210, Software Publishers. This is a notice of intent, not a request for proposals.
