- Questions and Answers, dated 12 December 2011 Amendment -0002, dated 12 December 2011 **Amendement 0002 added along with Revision C of purchase description PD11WRGRVEA01, dated 18 November 2011. Also some Questions and Answers have been posted as an attachment. Proposals due on 13 January 2012, 12:00PM EST. **Proposal due date is changed from 3 November 11 to INDEFINITE.** ** The Request for Proposal is attached. Proposals are due on 3 November by 12:00 PM EST.** The Purchase Description, Statement of Work and Engineering Data List (PR # FD2060-11-32361) attached to this Request For Proposal are export controlled. Please see instructions below on access to this package: Three things are required by the vendor to access the package: 1. Must be registered at CCR http://www.ccr.gov/Default.aspx 2. Must be registered at JCP and approved to view export control http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/Default.aspx 3. Must be registered at FBO http://www.fbo.gov/ The same CAGE code must be used for each registration. This requirement is for a 6-year Firm-Fixed Price Requirements-Type Indefinite-Delivery contract for the procurement of Diesel Driven 30 CFM, 3500 PSI Air Compressor. The technical specifications will be identified in a detailed purchase description and a statement of work. Material: Various The requirement will consist of one basic period of 24 months and 4 annual options. The tentative best estimated quantities (BEQs) are as follows: NSN 4310-01-591-7388: Basic Qty: Pre-production 1EA, BEQ 4; Opt I: BEQ 75; Opt II: BEQ 75; Opt III: BEQ 75; Opt IV: BEQ 75 There is no minimum or maximum order amount established. FAR Parts 12 and 15 procedures will be utilized w/ extensive pre-production testing required before production is ordered. Multiple USAF shipping locations are involved over the life of the contract. Delivery schedule: Delivery Requirements will be identified in the RFP Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with the mandatory, explicit, and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. The Government will utilize best value acquisition methodology and will evaluate proposals and make award in accordance with the Evaluation Basis for Award provision in the RFP. Offerors will be required to submit a cost/price volume, technical proposal, and performance volume in accordance with the RFP provisions. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or around 30 August 2011 and anticipated award in the February 2012 timeframe. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation.
