- NOTICE OF INTENT TO ESTABLISH BLANKET PURCHASE AGREEMENTS (BPAS) WITH CONTRACTORS TO PERFORM IN THE FT BENNING/COLUMBUS, GA AREA FOR VEHICLE RENTALS FOR FT BENNING, GA. Mission & Installation Contracting Command, Ft Benning, GA, seeks sources for a Blanket Purchase Agreement with Vehicle Rental Contractors located within a 100-mile radius of Ft Benning, GA, based upon orders requiring 24 hours response time for daily, weekly and monthly rental of sedans, vans and trucks. On a daily basis, firms must be capable of maintaining a reasonable inventory of 25 sedans, 75 vans and 100 trucks. This proposed contract action is for furnishing rental vehicles to Directorate of Logistics, Transportation Division, to augment GSA vehicles during surge operations, for multiple customers on Ft Benning, GA. Vehicles shall be delivered to the Transportation Motor Pool at Ft Benning, GA. The required services are commercial in nature, therefore, FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items shall apply to this acquisition. The contractor shall provide/furnish all labor, tools, equipment, uniforms, material, and supervision necessary to provide Rental Car services at Ft Benning, GA Army Installation. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notification or otherwise pay for any information or inquiry. This synopsis is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids/proposals. The projected Standard Industrial Classification/NAICS is 7514/532111 size standard is $25.5 million. Firms should indicate what Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) or NAICS code the firm utilizes for this type of requirement. 1.Period of Performance is for five years 2.All questions or comments must be emailed to Eddy Savory, eduardo.e.savory3.civ@mail.mil, Contract Specialist, by Friday, 16 Dec 2011 at 2:00 pm EST 3.Interested parties shall include company name, address, point of contact, phone/fax/email, and business size (large, small) and status (e.g., small business, 8(a), veteran owned small business, service-disabled veteran owned small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, and women owned small business), DUNS number, and CAGE Code 4.If your firm has an interest as described above, please review the attached draft scope of work and respond to Eddy Savory via email, eduardo.e.savory3.civ@mail.mil, not later than 2:00 PM EST, Friday, 16 December 2011. A determination by the Government not to issue agreements outside the 100-mile radius based upon response time is solely within the discretion of the Government.
