- Redacted Sole Source Justification PROPOSED SOLE SOURCE SOLICITATION: Agilent Technologies Inc. AQUEOUS AUTOMATIC PARTS CLEANING SYSTEM: The solicitation number is FA8601-12-T-0072. The NAICS Code is 334515. The size standard is 500 employees. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106(b) (1) and FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) (iii). The proposed source is Agilent Technologies Inc., Santa Clara, California. The purchase is for one (1) PXA Signal Analyzer, 3 Hz to 50 GHz, part number N9030A-550. Agilent Technologies is the only source that can provide the N9030A-550 PXA Signal Analyzer, which is the only analyzer capable of integrating with the existing experimental setup. This is a notice of intent. It is not a request for competitive quotations. Mr. Howard Marks, ASC/AQ, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, 45433, has been appointed as Ombudsman to hear concerns from offerors, or potential offerors, during the proposal development. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Existence of the Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer. Accordingly, the Ombudsman does not participate in the preparation of solicitations, the evaluation of proposals or the source selection process and, therefore, for routine matters on individual solicitations, please contact the buyer at the telephone number listed herein.
