- Contractor shall be responsible for and provide all labor, management, equipment, tools, materials and vehicles necessary, to rehabilitate twelve existing gravel campsites, by constructing new formed and poured concrete sites, in the base bid item, at the Saylorville Lake, Prairie Flower Campground, Blazingstar Loop. Two Option Items, A and B, consisting of a total of six campsites, in Prairie Flower Campground, Dogbane Loop, are identified as separate bid items. All technical provisions in this scope of work shall apply to the base bid item and each of the Option Items, A and B. The campsite rehabilitation shall include all site demolition, preparation and work to include site grading, providing for proper drainage, adding fill material and/or adding or removing soil or rock to level, compact, delineate, and construct formed and poured concrete campsites and, as needed, segmental block retaining walls. Due to the variation of the existing campsites and terrain, from sites that are near level, and sites cut-in to the existing grade, and the multiple construction techniques Contractors may choose to use to rehabilitate the sites, it is strongly encouraged that Contractors attend the pre-bid site visit.
