- The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) has an ongoing requirement for maintenance of its lab equipment at different locations. ATF has determined that it is in the Government's best interest to award these requirements with a base year and up to 4 option years. The vendor(s), equipment and estimated cost(s) for Years 2012-2016 are identified below. • Edax, Inc., located 91 McKee Drive in Mahwah, NJ 07430-2105: Eagle Generator (SN 736297) and Eagle Detector (SN 11546-91470-ME), Estimated Value Not-to-Exceed $100,000. Edax, Inc. is the sole-manufacturer of this equipment; therefore, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, in conjunction with FAR 13, ATF intends to negotiate and award an Order on a sole-source basis to Edax, Inc. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED; NOR WILL PROPOSALS BE REQUESTED. Interested parties, should there be, may email their technical literature showing their capability of meeting the Government's requirement to the Contract Specialist listed by the close of this Announcement.
