- Original Statement of Work The General Services Administration, Federal Acquisition Service, Philadelphia, PA intends to acquire 25,000 Oberthur PIV cards which includes the required graphical services that will embed and personalize the PIV cards. These services also include: Card Graphical Personalization and Chip Customization during graphical personalization. This is a sole source action to be awarded as a modification to existing firm fixed price Contract GS03T09DSC6003 awarded to Oberthur. The proposed contract modification is for 25,000 PIV cards for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only Obethur under the authority of FAR 6.302(c) (1), only one responsible source capable of providing the required supplies that will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all bids, proposals, or quotations received by the closing response date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The applicable NAICS code is 323119 and their business standard size is 5500 employees. RFQ: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Tht Solicitation number is R3093975 Modification 01 and is issued as a Request for Quote. The solicitation document and incorporated North American Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 323119. It is noted that all prospective offerors must be registered in GSA's ITSS procurement system to be eligible for award. To register got to http:web1.itss.gsa.gov/ Quantitiy: 25,000 PIV cards Delivery Schedule: 5,000 ea. per month on or before the following: January 30, 2012 February 28, 2012 March 30, 20112 April 30, 2011 May 30, 2012 Award shall be made to the lowest price technically acceptable quote.
