- Ombudsman Document Attachment B Statement of Work Attachment A Statment of Work Statment of Work Provide hotel accomadations to US Coast Guard International Ice Patrol members during their temporary duty assignments to St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada on Ice Reconnaissance Detachment patrols. Closing Date: 14 January 2012; 10:00AM EST This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; firm-fixed-price quotes for the purchase of the following item(s) are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quote HSCG32-12-Q-SAP004 incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-50. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 483211 and the size standard is 500 employees. This is an unrestricted procurement. The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), Research & Development Center intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order using the procedures of FAR Part 12 and Part 13. The anticipated award date is on or about 22 April 2011. The government intends to award from this solicitation to the responsive vendor whose quote conforming to the solicitation provides the best value. CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR): As required by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clause 52.204.-7, the prospective contractors shall be registered in the government's CCR database prior to award of a contract. Before a company may register itself in CCR, it must have a Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number. DESCRIPTION OF WORK Hotel accommodations for The U S Coast Guard International Ice Patrol in St. John's New Foundland, Canada for 1545 room nights from 01Feb2012 through 01AUG2012 in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). CONTRACT CLAUSES The provision at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items (Jun 2008) applies to this acquisition. 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999) (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. The following factor shall be used to evaluate offers: Price (b) Options. The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement. The Government may determine that an offer is unacceptable if the option prices are significantly unbalanced. Evaluation of options shall not obligate the Government to exercise the option(s). (c) A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offer's specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award. In the event the contractor effects any change at the direction of any person other than the contracting officer, the change will be considered to have been made without authority and no adjustment will be made in the contract price to cover any increase in charges incurred as a result thereof.
