- SUBJECT: Notice Of intent to sole source The Department of Veterans Affairs VA Illiana Healthcare System, Danville IL is contemplating negotiating a sole source contract under authority of 41 USC 253(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1,"only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements", with ARJO Huntleigh Inc, 2349 W Lake St STE 250 Addison Il 60101. ARJO is the only source with the specific knowledge of the current ARJO equipment, to include ceiling lifts, Maxi Sky Scales, and maxi Move units, and its configurations at this facility to properly service the equipment and ensure against any warranty considerations related to the equipment. This equipment serves patient areas and is critical to maintaining their care. The applicable North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition is 811219 with a business size standard of 500. This is not a request for proposals and no solicitation is forthcoming. This notice in no way obligates the government to award any contract.
