Description
Delineated Area Map U.S. Government is Seeking Expressions of Interest for Office, Warehouse, and Wareyard Space in Salt Lake City, Utah The United States Government currently occupies office, warehouse, and wareyard space in a building under lease in Salt Lake City, Utah. Through a full and open competitive procurement action the Government is seeking to lease approximately 3,600 ABOA square feet of office space and 3,500 ABOA and warehouse space, along with approximately 4,000 square feet of contiguous wareyard space. All space must be provided at the same location. The lease term will be for 10 years, 5 years firm. It is anticipated the contract will be awarded on or before May 1, 2012. Space must be ready for occupancy by December 1, 2012. On the basis of this ad and the ensuing market survey the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of existing or newly constructed space that can potentially satisfy the Government's requirements. Any site or structure offered for existing or newly constructed space must house all requirements, have a minimum of two means of ingress/egress, and must be located within the following delineated area: North: I-80 East: I-215 South: I-215 West: I-15 Proposed sites must be within a mile and a half driving distance of both an entrance and exit ramp to I-80, I-215 and/or I-15. See attached map. All locations offered shall be zoned for commercial office facilities must not be located in a 100 or 500-year floodplain. In support of GSA's Brownfield initiative, a bandoned, idled, or underused commercial sites where redevelopment is complicated by real or perceived environmental contamination will be considered. The Offeror must provide any existing environmental information available for the site(s) offered. Environmental reporting is not required to offer. In addition, the Offeror shall advise if there are any historic structures on or in the immediate area of the site and if there are any known archaeological resources on or near the site. In compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act and Executive Order 13006, when operationally appropriate and economically prudent, the Government will consider historic buildings and sites within historic districts. Demolition of historic buildings in anticipation of Government use may disqualify an Offeror from consideration.
