- Dynetics Technical Services, Inc. (DTS) is issuing a Notice of Intent to Advertisea NASA Emergency, Sole Source Procurement Request for Quote (RFQ) through Dell FederalSystems. This sustaining maintenance support is for existing Dell File Servers. Dellonly, no substitutions will be acceptable. Ongoing maintenance is needed to support theNASA Enterprise Applications Competency Center (NEACC) on the NASA Identity, Credentialand Access Management (ICAM) project. The contract is maintained by the MarshallInformation Technology Services (MITS) contract located at NASA Marshall Space FlightCenter (MSFC), AL. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested per theattached Request for Quotation (RFQ) and are located in the attached files. Thisincludes the RFQ, an Equipment List and Representations and Certifications, which need tobe completed and returned with your offer. Dynetics Inc. Terms and Conditions will applyunless the response proposes GSA or SEWP pricing or if the Terms and Conditions of theoriginal License Agreement will govern, in which case Dynetics Reps and Certs nor Termsand Conditions will apply to this award. Interested vendors have three (3) days fromthis publication date of this Synopsis/RFQ to submit their proposal to the undersigned atthe Internet Address or fax number listed below. There are no exceptions or extensions tothe required due date of responses. All uploaded attachments must be completed and areconsidered a part of the RFQ. It is the vendors responsibility to monitor this site forthe release of solicitation amendments (if any). Responses received without the requiredinformation will be considered non-responsive to the Synopsis/RFQ. All responsiblesources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Interestedorganizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort inwriting to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on12/16/11. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose ofdetermining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.Adetermination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to thisSynopsis/RFQ. This requirement is not applicable to the Electronic and InformationTechnology (EIT) standards established by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973(29 U.S.C. 7941).
