- This special notice is issued by the Bureau of Indian Affairs, San Carlos Irrigation Project, Coolidge, Arizona that the agency intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price purchase order pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 to Gila River Telecommunications - Native Technology Solutions (tribally owned SDB) in an estimated amount of $101,785 ($18,420 base year in addition to $19,342 for option year one; $20,309 for option year two; $21,324 for option year three; and $22,390 for option year four). The general description of services is stated as follows: Gila River Telecommunications - Native Technology Solutions will be required to provide annual maintenance and emergency repairs to the San Carlos Irrigation Project (SCIP) Nortel/Norstar BCM 450 Telephone System located in Coolidge, Arizona at 13805 North Arizona Boulevard. The contractor will provide equipment maintenance and emergency repair services 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. Standard non-emergency maintenance/repair services must be provided between 8:00am through 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Standard and emergency trouble can be remotely evaluated and repaired. If malfunction cannot be corrected remotely, a technician must be dispatched to SCIP's Coolidge Business Office location within 4 hours for emergencies and within 12 hours for non-emergencies. The contractor will include emergency advanced parts replacement in addition to standard parts replacement when applicable. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be issued however all responses received within 10 calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no affirmative responses are received within 10 calendar days of this notice to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the government, the award will be issued to Gila River Telecommunications - Native Technology Services. Responses must be received by 1:30pm Arizona Time on December 22, 2011.
