- Description
- Bareroot Seedling Lift and Pack Services JW Toumey Nursery, Gogebic County, Michigan. The JW Toumey Nursery is located off of Old US Hwy 2E, near Watersmeet Michigan. The services to be performed in this contract include lifting and loading of bareroot seedlings and processing of bareroot and container seedlings. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, quality control and incidentals other than items specified as Government furnished, to perform all work necessary. Services are typically performed between the months of March and May. The Government anticipates a Requirements contract with a one-year base item and two one-year option year items. Estimated start work is spring 2012. A solicitation is anticipated to be posted to Federal Business Opportunities mid January.
