- The Cherry Point Satellite Contracting Office, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC 28533 hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source delivery order to Honeywell International Inc, Engine, Systems & Services, 111 South 34th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85034, (Cage Code: 02LU7) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Market research has revealed this contractor is the manufacturer who maintains the proprietary drawing and is the only source capable of providing the direct replacement aircraft parts. The Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) East Support Team, MCAS Cherry Point, NC intends to procure: Ten (10) Pedestals, part number 137887 Forty (40) Guide Cable, part number 136110 Ten (10) Washer, part number S8157H41-032 Ten (10) Valve, part number 146211-1 Ten (10) Screw, part number 96696-1 Ten (10) LTA-Housing Assy, part number 137134-1 Ten (10) Housing, part number 110455-2 as required to fulfill the Government ™s requirement. These parts are direct replacement parts for the P-3 Aircraft, Duckflow Air Valve NSN 1660-00-887-6729, which is only manufactured by Honeywell International Inc. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all quotes received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered. Interested parties may identify their interest and unique capabilities to respond to this requirement or submit their quote. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
