Description
The National Guard Bureau (NGB), Operational Contracting Office - Arlington, VA, intends to issue a firm fixed price, sole-source award to LivingWorks Education USA, 440 Summerlea Drive, Fayetteville, NC 28311-1172 for Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training materials (ASIST Kits). The above company was approved by the Army G-1 as the suicide prevention/intervention training for the U.S. Army. LivingWorks Education is the only known source that provides the 5-day ASIST train-the-trainer (T4T) workshop required to certify individuals as ASIST trainers as well as the end-user items supporting the ASIST workshops. Various Army regulations indicate the ASIST training by name: Army Regulation (AR) 600-63 Department of the Army Pamphlet (DA PAM) 600-24, 611-21 All Army Activities (ALARACT) Messages 253/2009, 133/2010, 345/2010 The anticipated award date is January 12, 2012. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 611710 (Educational Support Services) and the size standard is $6M. This is not a solicitation and none will be issued for this requirement. All responsible sources capable of providing this training may submit a response. The responsible source must verify that their training materials (ASIST Kits) are certified for issue to end users following ASIST training. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested firms may identify their interest in writing to the Government point of contact. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 12:00 PM Eastern Time 12 January 2012 by e-mail only. Phone calls will not be accepted.
