- P12PS22136 - C2 Wastewater Collections Systems Operator, Gateway National Recreation Area, Sandy Hook Unit, Fort Hancock, NJ This solicitation is hereby amended to reflect the following: 1. Incorporate the Questions and Answers listed below 2. Extend the Response Date until Tuesday, January 3, 2012 10:00 a.m. P12PS22136 - C2 Licensed Wastewater Collection Systems Operator - Gateway National Recreation Area - Sandy Hook Unite, Fort Hancock, NJ Questions and Answers Question: Will the working hours for the C-2 Operator begin and end at a set time throughout the duration of the contract? Answer: The 10 hours worked for the week needs to be between the hours of 7 am and 3:30 pm Question: What is the exact start time/end time for the C-2 Operator working hours? Answer: An agreed upon time between the C2 and the Park Supervisor, those hours would fall between 7 am and 3:30 pm Question: Is there an incumbent contractor? If so, who is the contractor? Answer: No Question: Are NPS employees currently performing the services detailed in the statement of work? Answer: Yes Question: Do you believe that the contract resulting from this solicitation will be let as a simplified acquisition? Answer: No, the total estimated value of this procurement will not be classified as a simplified acquisition. Question: Can you provide a site map with the locations of manholes, lift stations and any other location that must be inspected/serviced by the C-2 Operator? We need to determine if a company vehicle is required for this project. Answer: A vehicle will be needed to complete the tasks. Question: Does the government provide a confined space entry supervisor for confined space entry activities by the contractor? Answer: There will be no confined space work required of the C2. Question: A member of our staff has a NJ C-4. I know the solicitation is requiring a C-2 license. Will the C-4 license suffice? 2. Answer: C4 license is acceptable. Question: The C-4 license is in the process of being renewed but it the renewal is not received by submission due date (December 20, 2011) can we still submit? Answer: C4 license needs to be valid before award.
