- Due to a revised acquisition strategy, the Aviation Applied Technology Directorate intends to release a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) in support of Phase II of the Reconfigurable Rotors program in January 2012. The goal of the Reconfigurable Rotors program is to provide improved rotorcraft performance throughout the flight envelope resulting in significantly increased mission capability and survivability through the optimization of integrated active and passive rotor features.
