- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting Office, is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based mental health and substance abuse treatment services at the Mothers and Infants Together (MINT) program located in Hillsboro, West Virginia. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period estimated to begin on April 1, 2012 with four (4) one-year option periods, with services ending (if all options years are renewed) on March 31, 2016. The services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three and Option Year Four, respectively. Base Year: Estimated number of inmates 12: Substance Abuse Intake Assessment (one per inmate) for 12 inmates; Substance Abuse Individual Counseling (30 minutes = 1 session)(12 per inmate) for 144 session; Substance Abuse Group Counseling (30 minutes = 1 session)(96 per inmate) for 1152 sessions; Mental Health Intake Assessment & Report (one per inmate) for 12 inmates; Mental Health Individual Counseling (30 minutes = 1 session)(48 per inmate) for 576 sessions; Mental Health Group Counseling (30 minutes = 1 session)(96 per inmate) for 1152 sessions; Psychiatric Evaluation (one per inmate) for 12 inmates; Psychological Evaluation (one per inmate) for 12 inmates; Medication Monitoring (6 units per inmate) for 12 inmates = 72 monitoring units. The services shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Substance Abuse and Mental Health Treatment for Mothers and Infants Nurturing Together (MINT) Program Statement of Work dated September 2011 - Masters Required. The request for quotation will be available on or after December 16, 2011 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http: //www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the quotation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including quotation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. The estimated closing date is on or about January 20, 2012. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The BOP anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract. The solicitation will be set-aside 100% Small Business.
