- Specifications NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order to FLIR Radiation, Inc. This notice is not a request for competitive solicitation of offers. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no affirmative written response is received, the purchase will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. FLIR is the sole proprietor of indentiFINDER and identiFINDER2 instruments. PRODUCT: ICX Model identiFINDER 2-ULK- YG (idF2-ULK-YG), identiFINDER 2 Series with CLYC Detector with a 25mm diameter by 25mm length CLYC Detector; GM Detector and internal K40 source for calibration verification and peak stabilization. Some of the key featured benefits for this equipment are handheld sized unit, dual detection capability (detects both neutrons and gamma rays), uses Pulse Shape Discrimination (PSD), and performs threat identification based on spectroscopic gamma information and neutron flux information. In accordance with DFARS 252.211-7007, all items valued at $5,000.00 or more shall include an Item Unique Identification (IUID) Label prior to delivery. Any additional cost associated with this IUID requirement shall be included as a separate line item.
