- This is a notice of intent the AFGLSC anticipates firm fixed price contract for the purchase of one (1) each Torque Wrench Tester, NSN: 6635-01-528-1921RN part number: TSD-20235-TM-1025-1.2K in support of a ground support equipment. Delivery Schedule is on or before May 15, 2012. The unit will be shipped FOB origin to the FMS country. The proposed contract action is for a sole source to AKO, Inc (DBA Torque Specialist DIV Torque), 110 Broadbrook Rd, Enfield CT 06080-5303, CAGE: 61015. Interested person(s) may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. However, the solicitation will be posted within 15 days of this notice. Quotes will be accepted for 30 days following the posting of the solicitation. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and /or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the contract officer does not satisfy concerns, and ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are resolved through established channels. The purpose of the ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of quotes.
