- This pre-solicitation notice modification does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors of a proposed contract action. The pre-solicitation notice posted for this proposed contract action on 18 November 2011 referred to a site visit/pre-solicitation conference. Per this modification the correct terminology is site visit/pre-proposal conference. The pre-solicitation notice indicated the solicitation for this proposed contract action was expected to be posted under N3319112R0603 on or about 08 December 2011, and included a planned proposal due date of 24 January 2012, and a planned site visit on 12 January 2012. In addition the pre-solicitation indicated that all Country Clearance Packages must be submitted by 14 December 2011. The dates for the planned proposal due date, the site visit and Country Clearance Submission date were all based on issuing the solicitation on 08 December 2011, and were tentative. Per this modification to the pre-solicitation notice, the solicitation posting date has not yet be established. The solicitation is expected to be posted in the month of December 2011, but this date is not firm. The solicitation will provide the actual proposal due date, the site visit date and the Country Clearance Submission date.
