- This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. The statutory authority for this sole-source procurement is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1)as prescribed by FAR 6.302-1. The National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC), under the contracting authority of the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) intends to issue a sole-source, firm fixed price, purchase order to BAE Systems for a quantity of twenty (22) each SOCET GSP, GeoAnalysis Advanced Bundle annual software maintenance agreement. This product maintenance agreement is unique, proprietary and confidential to BAE Systems, 10920 Technology Place, San Diego, CA 92127-1874. The software maintenance agreement is required to support an existing Army program. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government shall consider all responses received within five (3) days of this posting. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. The statutory authority for this sole-source procurement is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1)as prescribed by FAR 6.302-1. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement. The National Ground Intelligence Center will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice.
