- OFFICE ADDRESS: USPFO for Utah, 12953 South Minuteman Drive, Draper, UT 84020-2000 SUBJECT: Wi-Fi Service SOLICITATION NUMBER: W911YP-12-S-0001 DUE DATE: 1:00 p.m. MST on 22 December 2011 POC: Linda Duvall, Contract Specialist, 801- 432-4091 NOTICE TYPE: Sources Sought DESCRIPTION: The Utah National Guard has a requirement for Wi-Fi Service at Army Garrison Camp Williams, 17800 South Camp Williams Road, Riverton, Utah 84065. REQUIREMENT: 1. Purchase from Camp Williams Billeting all existing usable routers, switches, access points, and other hardware at fair market value and add any additional needed equipment in order to provide, maintain, and operate unofficial internet access to all designated installation chargeable quarters at NO cost to Camp Williams. 2. Charge the authorized users agreed upon access rates and provide 15% of gross revenue to the Camp Williams Morale, Welfare, and Recreation fund. 3. Assume/Take over the existing contract with QWEST. 4. Establish contracts to provide adequate bandwidth to support demand. 5. Work with the Utah National Guard DOIM to provide special services access as needed for special meetings/conferences, temporary access for support of official network, or exclusive access to circuit extensions in the event of a state/local emergency. 6. Provide 24/7 technical support. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A SOLICITATION. This Sources Sought (SS) is for information and planning purposes only and is issued for the purpose of Market Research. The Utah National Guard is currently requesting information in order to determine the availability of vendors that are interested and capable of performing the work described herein. Responses are welcomed from all interested and capable vendors. This SS is not restricted to a particular socioeconomic program and/or business size. The Utah National Guard does not intend to award a contract on the basis of responses received as a result of this SS. Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this sources sought is voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to the SS. As a result of this Sources Sought, the Utah National Guard may request a Request for Proposal (RFP). THERE WILL BE NO SOLICITATION AND A GOVERNMENT CONTRACT WILL NOT BE AWARDED. THIS SERVICE WILL BE A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOU). Any interested firm should submit a Capability Statement to include experience with similar projects of a comparable magnitude. Statement should include your firms general background, experience, qualifications, and industry specific awards. A special notation should be made of similar or related programs performed for the Government including documentation with reference to the applicable contract numbers.
