- Description
- The performance-based services covered in this solicitation and resultant contract require the contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to provide services to lift, grade and package seedlings at the Bessey Nursery. These services shall consist of lifting and transporting seedlings to cold storage; provide grading and packaging services; and cleanup and storage of Government-furnished equipment, facilities and materials. The proposed contract is one base year and two option years to be exercised at the government's discretion. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: The solicitation, AG-82X9-S-12-0020, and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as a Request For Proposal (RFP), resulting in a Firm Fixed Price contract. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 111421. The solicitation will be available for downloading on or about December 19, 2012 at the website address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. A Pre-Proposal visit date will be included in the solicitation. All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) prior to award of a Federal contract. Registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov/. A handbook and other information are available at the site, including information on how to obtain a DUNS number, which is required to begin the registration process. Vendors are required to register at the Online Representations and Certifications website (ORCA); registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.bpn.gov.
