- Description
- The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to extend a sole source bridge contract to Columbia Group Corporation, Inc., 1201 M Street SE Suite 10, Washington DC 20003. The extension is needed due to un-anticipated issues in award of the pending long term competitive Seaport contract to satisfy these requirements. NAVSEA anticipates awarding the long term contract by the end of the second quarter of GFY 2012. The Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract provides professional support services to NAVSEA Corporate Operations; Command Human Resources/EEO Division and the Financial Management/Budget Branch and associated Other Direct Costs (ODC). This contract will provide assistance implementing and evaluating the Merit Staffing Program; creating and submitting civilian manpower budgets and exhibits; monitoring civilian personnel payroll execution to include monitoring of obligations and expenditures; and a variety of routine projects involving HR operations, to include clerical, administrative, and data management support at the Washington Navy Yard office location. This extension will consist of a three month base and four, one-month options. The contract will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) and the Federal Acquisition Regulations 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
