Description
The original special notice posted this date was missing the Submisison Process information. That informatino is provided in this modification: SUBMISSION PROCESS: All interested parties must become familiar with the Natick Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) (https://www3.natick.army.mil/docs/BAA%2011-13%20-%2010%20Aug%202011%20Revision.pdf). Submissions must be in accordance with the BAA and submitted under Topic A - "Warrior Systems Technologies", Sub-Topic 1. "Ballistic Protection for Individuals" paragraph g, with the exception of technical POC as John Kirejczyk. Concept paper submissions shall be sent to John Kirejczyk at John.Kirejczyk@us.army.mil no later than 27 Jan 2012. Phone (508) 233-4348. Electronic submissions are required. Concept paper submissions via email shall state in the email subject line: "BB-12-35 LWSAPI BAA Concept Paper - Company Name". the BAA contains instructions for submission of Concept Papers. Proprietary information will not be disclosed outside the U.S. Government. Nothing shall be construed herein or through the synopsis process to commit or obligate the government to further action as a result of this synopsis. Firms responding to this synopsis shall bear all risk and expense of any resources used to provide the required information, and all information submitted in response to this request shall become the property of the government and will not be returned to the submitter. The government shall evaluate all white papers and provide a written response/proposal invitation to the offerors on or about 27 Feb 2012. Any questions concerning this acquisition should be addressed to Mr. John Kirejczyk, via email to the address listed above. The Natick BAA is effective 1 April 2011 through 31 March 2013. It is anticipated that cost plus fixed fee contract will be awarded. In accordance with FAR 16.301-3, for an anticipated cost type contract to be awarded, potential offerors must ensure that they have an adequate accounting system, as determined by their cognizant Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) office. This synopsis expires 27 Jan 2012.
