- This requirement is sponsored by DISA/EE to aid in the development and implementation of a net-centric integrated architecture using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes to develop data-centric models of critical portions of the GIG. The contractor shall provide enterprise systems and architecture engineering support to DISA/EE in its efforts to develop strategic plans for meeting Agency and DoD objectives to provide the overarching architecture and design for DoD enterprise IT services. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.203, the Government intends for this acquisition to be offered for competition limited to eligible Small Business Concerns. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns. The period of performance will be one year from contract award with one (1) one-year option. The estimated start date is 16 February 2012. The National American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541519. The solicitation and all related documents will be posted at this site. Instructions for submitting questions and proposals will be given at the time the solicitation is released. The resulting award will be Best Value Trade-Off, with non-cost factors being significantly more important than cost. If at anytime the Government determines that the requested services are no longer required, the Government reserves the right to not make an award. The Government also reserves the right to award without discussions. Proposals will be due after Request for Proposal (RFP) release date. All responses from responsible Small Business Concerns will be considered for evaluation and award of the contract. Oral communications are not acceptable. The estimated date in which the Request for Proposal (RFP) for this acquisition to be uploaded to FedBizOpps is 3 January 2012.
