- This sources sought is issued solely for informational, planning, and market research purposes in accordance with FAR Part 10. This sources sought notice is seeking interest from Small Businesses capable and interested in performing Operations and Maintenance of bulk fuel facilities at the following location: Andersen Air Force Base, Guam Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska Eielsen Air Force Base, Alaska All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for the future acquisitions. No award will be made from this sources sought notice. S solicitations for each of the above locations will be issued and posted to FBO in early 2012; therefore, do not request copies at this time. The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy is not seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Please keep in mind that this gives general description of the scope of work that could be required and does not define the final requirement. Presently we anticipate the resulting solicitation to be Set-Aside 100 percent for eligible Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 493190 and the small business size standard is $25.5 million. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP), performance based contract will be used for this requirement. Period of performance for above locations will be five-year contracts, beginning August 1, 2013. All interested and qualified Small Business concerns should notify this office by electronic mail. Responses to this announcement shall be used to determine our acquisition strategy. Only one response per company is required. Please provide the following information: Company's name, address, point of contact, telephone, cage code, email address, web site (if applicable), fuel related experience and a brief overview of your company (no more than one page for company information). Any information provided is voluntary. Telephone calls will not be accepted. Responses regarding interest to perform requirement at ANDERSEN AFB, GUAM shall be submitted electronically to Mr. Garth Hibbert at garth.hibbert@dla.mil. Responses regarding interest to perform requirement at ELMENDORF AFB, ALASKA shall be submitted electronically to Ms. Annie Gordon at annie.gordon@dla.mil. Responses regarding interest to perform requirement at EIELSEN AFB, ALASKA shall be submitted electronically to Mr. Gordon Braxton at gordon.braxton@dla.mil. Responses shall be submitted not later than December 23, 2011 at 3:00pm local Virginia time. Be advised the government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this sources sought. All costs associated with this sources sought will be solely at the expense of the respondents. Additionally, all submissions become government property and will not be returned. No basis for a claim against the government shall arise as a result from a response to this sources sought.
