- This information is being posted for industry comment. This is not a solicitation, and an award will not be made as a result of this posting. The Government does not intend to respond to the information received as a result of this posting. Description/Background: The Medical Research and Material Command (MRMC), U.S. Army, Fort Detrick, MD is seeking industry comments on a draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for Scientific Peer Review Services. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201, the early exchange of information between industry and the Government is encouraged. The purpose of this exchange is to improve the understanding of Government requirements and industry capabilities. In particular, the Government is interested in industry comments on the following: 1) Overall PWS-- clarity, CLIN structure, any ambiguities or questions 2) Suggestions to improve the PWS-- provide clarity, (to promote efficiency and effectiveness), to better leverage industry capabilities and best practices 3) Suggestions to improve the PWS-- to reduce costs, to provide flexibility, to utilize firm-fixed price services 4) Any other comments industry believes would be useful to the Government Comments should be submitted to Ms. Kirstin Quinn, via email kirstin.quinn@us.army.mil, by 4:00 PM EST 4 January 2012.
