- The Army Contracting Command-National Capital Region (ACC-NCR) intends to award a sole source contract to the Consolidated Analysis Center Inc. (CACI) 1455 Frazee Rd, Suite 700 San Diego, CA 92108, for SIMSCRIPT & SIMPROCESS Software Maintenance. The contractor shall provide a proprietary service of SIMSCRIPT/SIMPROCESS license software maintenance. A programming language used to link and compile Combat Sample Generator Models along with runtime libraries necessary to run the simulations. The date for this service is 30 December 2011 through 29 December 2012. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The point of contract is Jorge L. De Leon, Contract Specialist (703) 428-1098; Email: Jorge.Deleon@us.army.mil. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within ten days after date of publication (NLT 26 December 2011 1:00 pm EST) of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements".
