Description
Attachment C Attachment A XTA Statement of Work SLAC is seeking for professional services for its XTA Control System Development. The XTA (X-Band Test Area) is an accelerator test facility presently built in the NLCTA tunnel at SLAC. It consists of a laswer, RF components, electromagnetic magnets, various electromagnetic diagnostics, profile monitors, Ultra-High_Vacuum envionrment and a machine protection system. The XTA control system is an EPICS based control system similar to LCLS. Proficiency in EPICS based control systems is required to carry out the work. This RFP will require each prospective venfor to submit the following: 1) a brief explanation as to how your company will accomplish the requirements stated in the SOW 2) a proejcted milestone payment schedule based on tasks listed in the SOW. Include with your fixed milestone payment schedule, a breakdown of the hourly rates 3) resume(s) of whome you believe meet the qualifications stated in the SOW. Provide more than one resume, as applicable, to allow for SLAC to see the qualifications of the candidates your company may or may not chose to be assigned to SLAC for the furation of the contract 4) a period of performance in which the tasks can be completed Please be prepared to provide a copy of your company's certificate of insurance, if the need arises. If you have any questions, please address them to btu@slac.stanford.edu, in writing, before 12/21/11, 4:00PM PST Please note that SLAC will be shut down from 12/19/11 through 1/2/12. Deadline to submit your proposal with resumes is Wednesday, January 4th, 2012 4:00PM PST Availability of Funds: For programmatic reason, this solicition has been issued in advance of receipt of funds that would permit a subcontract to be awarded. Funds are expected to become available on or before 1/30/12 or before contract award. No legal liability on the part of the University for any payment may arise until funds are made available and a subcontract is awarded.
