- The general objectives of this Scope of Work (SOW) are to: and a burn pit area located approximately 500 feet from the wellhead; • Safely remove, transport and dispose of an estimated 1,300 tons of PCB and petroleum contaminated soil remaining in the vicinity of Test Well No. 9 and a burn pit area located approximately 500 feet from the wellhead; Conduct confirmatory soil sampling at the Test Well No. 9 and burn pit areas. The work in this SOW is to be conducted in accordance with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC), and all other applicable state and federal regulations.
