- The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Special Projects Branch intends to issue solicitation to obtain Engineering Services to support a DISA customer which engages and supports customers throughout the DoD and the U.S. Government that require rapid assessments and evaluations of emerging technologies, systems, and procedures. Situated within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology & Logistics (AT&L), the DISA customer provides rapid, innovative solutions to its customer base, particularly for projects involving support to rapid acquisition efforts and highly classified efforts in facilitating added capabilities to the warfighter. The Government will offer this opportunity to all qualified, interested parties on the basis of full and open competition. The anticipated period of performance of the single award Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity contract the government anticipates to result from the solicitation will be 12 months with four (4) 12-month option periods. The North American Industrial Classification Code applicable to this acquisition is 541330, Engineering Services. The solicitation and all related documents will be posted at this site. Instructions for submitting questions and proposals will be given at the time the solicitation is released. The basis of award will be best value, with other than cost factors being significantly more important than cost. The Government reserves the right to make no award. The government also reserves the right to award without discussions. The solicitation will state the time and place interested parties must submit proposals. Proposals from small business concerns will be evaluated and considered for contract award. Oral communications are not acceptable.
