- The proposed action is for technical support services for the Deputy Commander for Fleet Logistics Operations (SUP 04) Supply Chain Management (SCM) Division (SUP 41) mission responsibilities at the NAVSUP headquarters. The period of performance is 01 January 2012 through 29 February 2012. The majority of the work will be performed at the contractor ™s facilities with meetings and briefings at other sites as needed. Using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, under FAR Part 13, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Philadelphia intends to solicit only one source, Burr Business Solutions. Burr Business Solutions is the only known source that has the personnel in place to provide these services for a 01 January 2012 start date. Interested persons may identify their capability to provide the required services. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. However, all capability information received by the designated time on 30 August 2011 will be considered by the Government. Information shall be received at NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Philadelphia no later than four o ™clock (Eastern Time) on 19 December 2011. The Government will not pay for information received in response to this notice. The NAICS code is 541330. All responses shall be emailed to joseph.caltagirone@navy.mil.
