Description

Synopsis: Dated: December 16, 2011 COMPETITION FOR EXISTING LEASE LOCATION AMOUNT: Approximately 1,613 NUSF of Clinic Space. LOCATION: The VA currently occupies 1,231 NUSF of Clinic Space located at Mercy Health Center Medical Plaza 902 South Horton Street in Fort Scott, Kansas. The Department of Veterans Affairs plans to negotiate an expansion for an additional 322 NUSF at this location based on economic, mission, and other factors. The VA will relocate only after consideration of economic and other factors if more advantageous to the Government, including relocation cost, IT infrastructure, and tenant improvement to new location. REQUIRED: All services, supplies, utilities, partitioning and required tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than February 1, 2012. TERM: Lease term will be for 5 years with the Government having termination rights after one year by giving 180 days written notice to the lessor at anytime on or after the first year. To be considered space must be within 2 mile radius of the current Fort Scott CBOC located at 902 South Horton Street in Fort Scott, Kansas.
