Description
CONTINGENCY RESPONSE PROJECTSOLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK PRESOLICITATION NOTICE This is a Presolicitation Notice to establish interest in the project. The actual Solicitation is expected to be posted on 4 January 2012. CONTRACT TYPE The Government contemplates the award of an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a base period of 12 months and four option periods of service not to exceed 12 months each. The capacity of the contract shall not exceed $2,000,000,00 with individual task orders not to exceed the SAT ($150,000.00), and shall not be less than $1000.00 in value. The Government intends to award to three contractors, but reserves the right to award to fewer or more contractors should it be in the best interest of the Government. The minimum guarantee of award is $1000.00 for awardees. STATEMENT OF WORK The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete each of the requirements of the issued task orders. Work shall consists of prompt and expeditious removal of downed trees, felling damaged trees, and clearing of debris after adverse weather event, and/or as directed by the Contracting Officer (CO). Work may include supporting other contingency requirements to include but not limited to excavating, hauling earth or equipment, and/or other heavy equipment operations which may be associated with the services NAICS code 113310. All work shall be performed in a safe manner so as to protect human life, equipment, and environment. Details of each project will be by task order. The contractor shall be required to maintain liability insurance necessary for work on a government installation. Contractors must be registered in CCR (ccr.gov). All questions and answers will be posted on a blog established for this solicitation: http://olympicnationalparkcontracting.wordpress.com/ The Government is contemplating a one hour workshop to assist new contractors in the development of a proper contract proposal. If your company is interested in participating in such a workshop, please express your firm's interest either by email or the market research survey link on the aforementioned website. Assistance will also be offered for contractors who need to register in CCR.
