- Tobyhanna Army Depot has a requirerment for a 1A Airborne Instrumentation Branch Clean Zone Project I.General Scope Vendor shall provide specialized equipment and installation services for the engineering, design equipment purchase, construction and installation services for the construction of a "clean zone" in the 1A Airborne Instrumentation Branch. The clean zone will be replacing an existing Class 100,000 clean room located in the work area. The project shall include: A.Painting of walls in area of clean zone. B.Electrostatic dissipative (ESD) flooring. C.Installation of ISO 7 (Class 10,000) laminar flow work stations. D.Overhead utilities to service new workstations. E.10 foot high modular wall panel system to segregate the clean zone area from the rest of the shop. F.Replacement of existing Rotor Room and associated utilities II. Salient Features and Characteristics A. Project concept Drawings-Exhibits to Gov't SOW shall be furnished with Gov't solicitation.W25G1V-12-R-0017 B.Painting 1.All perimeter walls of project area are to be painted. 2.Remove all unused and obsolete equipment from wall prior to painting C.ESD Epoxy floor finish Contractor shall install ESD epoxy floor finish Note: There is suspect asbestos containing material (ACM) in the floor tile and mastic located in the project area. TYAD will complete surveying to confirm. If ACM is found asbestos abatement must be performed prior to renovations. D.Laminar flow work stations Contractor shall purchase and install laminar flow workstations (clean bench) which meet at a minimum the requirements of ISO 7(Class 10,000) air cleanliness conditions for clean rooms and clean benches. Contractor to provide work station cut sheets for TYAD Review as part of project solicitation. E. Overhead Utilities Contractor shall provide overhead utilities to each work station and work benches. All work to follow NEC and TYAD standards. Contractor shall provide all material and labor. F.Modular wall system. Contractor shall purchase and install a 10 foot high modular wall panel system to segregate the clean zone area from the remainder of the shop. G.Rotor Room Contractor shall replace existing Rotor Test Room and associated utilities. All wiring shall follow NEC and TYAD standards. Contractor shall purchase and install a new Rotor test room. Request for Proposal (RFP) W25G1V-12-R-0017 will be issued on or about January 3,2012. Actual issues and due dates shall be as established in the solicitation. The RFP will be available for download on the FEDERAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES PAGE. Any resultant contract will be a Firm Fixed Price. All prospective offerors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of contract with any DOD agency.
