- Description
- Multiple centers within the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) require Audio Visual (AV) support services at both Government and non-Government facilities. The requirements range from a base year with multiple options to one-day meetings. Due to the FDA's fluctuating conference, training, and meeting needs, centers are unable to forecast all requirements for AV support services based on quantity and delivery schedule. Furthermore, the fluctuating needs may inhibit the centers' ability to accurately estimate the extent or duration of the work or to anticipate costs with any reasonable degree of confidence. For the reasons specified above, it is determined that an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with the ability to issue Firm-Fixed Price, Labor Hour, or Time and Material Task Orders and is in the best interest of the FDA. While non-fixed price task orders may be issued, The Government will issue Firm-Fixed Price Task Orders to the maximum extent practicable.
