- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-54 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20111207. NAICS is 334220 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), at Edwards AFB, CA is seeking potential sources capable of providing the following: REQUIREMENTS: L-Band Filter/Preamplifier Assembly • Frequency range 1435 to 1540 • The included band pass filter is flat 0.5IL from 1435 to 1540 MHz rejection at 1230 and 1700 MHz by at least 50dB • Passband insertion loss 0.5dB maximum • Total system noise figure 1.5 to 1.8 dB maximum • 110 VAC power supply • AC power connector 3 pin locking • RF Connector Type N • Operating temperature -20 to 51 Degrees C • Humidity 10 to 95% non-condensing • Weather proof box design • Operating altitude 0 to 10,000 feet • Impedance input and output 50 ohms • Amplifier Gain 30 dB minimum • Power out 10 dBm minimum • Gain Flatness +/- 1.0 dB maximum Delivery: 90 DARO Quantity: 16 Place of delivery, performance, and acceptance is FOB Destination, Edwards AFB, CA 93524. All delivery and pick-up charges must be included in the quote for FOB Destination. Offerors are required to submit with their quote enough information for the Government to evaluate the minimum requirements detailed in this synopsis.
