- Description
- This is a competitive FAR Part 13 sustaining engineering services effort to develop Form-Fit-Function (F3) replacement prototypes for procuring engineering services to address the obsolescence issues in support of the Hybrid Microcircuit. It is applicable to the Depot Automatic Test System for Avionics (DATSA). Firm Fixed Price and Cost reimbursable CLINs (for Travel) are also applicable. This effort includes the design, hardware, and software integration and formal testing of an F3 prototype for the Hybrid Microcircuit, NSN 5962-01-194-7277. Insertion of this new technology shall improve the operational reliability and availability of the DATSA. Period of performance is 6 months for entire effort. Deliverables are FOB Destination to Robins AFB, GA Estimated solicitation date is 30 Jan 2012 with a response date of 29 Feb 2012. Solicitation will be available on www.fbo.gov.website only. No hard copies will be issued. Notes 1 (The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns) and Note 26 (Based upon market research, the government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested person may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice) apply.
