- On or about the week of 12 December 2011 the 11th Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland intends to post a solicitation on www.fedbizzopps.gov for blood courier services at Malcolm Grow Medical Center on Joint Base Andrews MD. A frim fixed price contract is contemplated. This commercial acquisition will be accomplished in accordance with FAR parts 12, 13, and 15. The contractor is expected to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, mateirals, supervision, and other items and services not identified as Government Furnished Property and Services. The North American Iundustrial Classification Code (NAICS Code) is 4492110. The desired period of performance is 1 Feb - 30 Sep 2012. There will be four (4) one-year option periods. The solicitation, notices, and any/ all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading at www.fedbizzops.gov website. No paper copies will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors interested in submitting proposals must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Dada Base (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. All responsible sources may subit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract, it does not restrict the government to its acquisition approach, nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation cost.
