- The U.S. Census Bureau intends to procure lodging and meeting space in the Washington Metropolitan Area for the 23rd Wiesbaden Group on Business Registers Conference. Dates are September 17-20, 2012. Lodging required is as follows: 50 sleeping rooms on Sunday, September 16, 2012 through Thursday, September 20, 2012. Accommodations must have on-site full service restaurant, Metro access within one block, and food/banquet services. Meeting requirements are as follows for Monday, September 17, 2012 through Thursday, September 20, 2012: 75 seated at tables in U-shape with perimeter seating for 25; 25 push to talk microphones set-up one per table, screen and projector, internet access for presenter's computer, podium with microphone for presenter. Pre-function space and easels to exhibit up to 12 posters and 2(two) registration tables; 1(one) breakout room seating 100 at rounds for plated lunch, screen and projector, internet access for the presenter's computer, microphone. For Thursday, September 20, 2012, an additional breakout room for 20 seated at a conference table. Also food/banquet services. The U.S. Census Bureau reserves the right to conduct an on-site inspection of offered facilities. Lodging rate must be equal to or less than Government per diem rate.
