REFERENCE STATEMENT OF WORK, Protective Coatings (Paint) Supervisor #0362 DELETE IN ITS' ENTIRETY AND REPLACE WITH THE FOLLOWING: Protective Coatings (Paint) Supervisor #0362 The VCT Project Trade Supervisor (paint) shall provide skills and expertise in this specific trade or discipline on a jobsite specified by the CWT Coordinator. The primary responsibility of the trade supervisor is to expedite the work on the jobsite specific to his or her trade or discipline, in meeting project scheduling and budgetary goals. He or she will also assist with the day to day administrative activities on the job site which include client attendance, daily activity log and accident reports. The project trade supervisor (protective coatings) shall have a minimum of fifteen years of experience in this specific trade or discipline. All candidates shall show proof of General Contractor ™s Liability Insurance*. He or she shall have a minimum of ten years of experience in the operation of a construction related business in the private sector, as the principal In addition, a minimum of five years of experience is required in providing vocational rehabilitation or habilitation services, such as job counseling, job training, and work experience, to unemployed and underemployed persons, persons with disabilities, and persons who have a job market disadvantage because of lack of education, job skill, or experience. A minimum of 5 hours of documented training is required. Related to documented training in vocational rehabilitation: Specifically, work experience must include managing crews composed of workers with mental health issues, i.e.: He or she must be trained to recognize symptoms of various mental health issues and alert staff so that the participant can receive appropriate clinical care. He or she must be trained and experienced in conflict resolution. He or she must understand the psychosocial treatment model and be able to give updates to assigned clinicians when requested to do so. DUTIES SHALL INCLUDE: File reports daily to the CWT Coordinator per sample Meet all safety and Security requirements of the various worksites Assist in coordinating staff for the execution of trade work Assist in meeting project schedule milestones and deadlines Assist in meeting projects budgetary goals. Assist in developing material list Layout personnel daily activities specific to the trade or discipline and oversee these activities. Provide hands on assistance as required to meet project deadlines Assist in identifying and enforcing all site safety requirements Review proper use of tools and equipment with participants Review material deliveries specific to their trade or discipline. Ensure proper inventory and storage Attend required safety, project and vocational training meetings Evaluate participant job performance in the particular trade and provide feedback to the clinical team. 1.Must possess professional qualifications for satisfactory performance of required services. Must possess the skill in the particular trade or specialty and the ability to train others. The VCT PAINT COATING Supervisor (protective coatings) shall provide skills and expertise in a specific trade or discipline on a jobsite, under the oversite of the general supervisor through reports. The primary responsibility of the trade supervisor is to expedite the work on the jobsite specific to his or her trade or discipline, thereby assisting the project general supervisor in meeting project scheduling and budgetary goals. He or she will also assist the general supervisor in the day to day administrative activities on the jobsite. He or she shall have a minimum of ten years of experience in the operation of a construction related business in the private sector 2. Specialized experience and competence demonstrating ability in this unique psychosocial treatment environment. A minimum of five years of experience is required in providing vocational rehabilitation or rehabilitation services similar to non profits 3.Specialized experience and technical competence demonstrating ability in managing Government projects of a similar nature particularly in Hospital and Military environments. 4. Location of home or business within a 150 miles of Bedford. 5.Willingness to travel to remote sites 10 percent of the time in New England Work performance shall be monitored by VCT Coordinator through reports from the Director of Operations Tour of duty is 7:00AM to 3:30PM Monday through Friday *General Contractor ™s Liability Insurance shall consist of a minimum of $500,000.00/occurrence, $500,000.00 personal injury, $1,000,000.00 aggregate.
