- Technical Specifications DBE Information Solicitation The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) requires the services of a qualified Offeror to manufacture and deliver (2) 40’Boom Trucks to be used by the Structure Maintenance and Inception division throughout the WMATA system. The Boom Truck will reach heights of 40’ and will be non dielectric. In addition it shall meet, as a minimum, all requirements as defined in the Technical Specifications Section 3.0. If you have any questions, Technical, Contractual, or Administrative, please e-mail them to macoefield@wmata.com no later than Close of Business December 27, 2011. WMATA will provide an Amendment with written answers, by e-mail to all those who obtain the RFP and provided their e-mail addresses as well as post on the Amendment and answers on the WEB. Your proposal must be submitted with all required documents as stated in the RFP, no later than 2:00PM, January 17, 2012 at WMATA, Office of Procurement and Materials, 600 Fifth Street, NW, Room 403, Washington, DC 20001-2651. NOTE: Awards for all WMATA procurement can only be made to vendors who are registered in the WMATA Vendor Registration Database (VRD). Therefore, all vendors are strongly encouraged to register in the WMATA VRD prior to submitting a proposal. To register, visit our website at www.wmata.com.
