- Description
- Western Area Power Administration (Western) has a requirement for the ABB Transformer Oil Cooling Pumps and Cables; a product of the transformer manufacturer ABB Inc. This acquisition will be handled as a commercial item acquisition prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 12 and 13. ABB, Inc. has the proprietary ownership of design and specialized repair parts for an AU KU1A Transformer. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this is 335999 and the business size standard is 500 employees. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. All offeror's must complete all portions of each section of the solicitation package and must be registered in the databases as indicated on the cover letter to be considered for award. This solicitation will be issued electronically on or about December 19, 2011. Only small businesses that are authorized representatives of ABB Inc. Note: all responses to this RFQ shall be mailed to Western Area Power Administration, 5555 E. Crossroads Blvd., Attn: J1531, Loveland, CO. 80538 8986 and must be received on or before the deadline of December 23, 2011 at 1:00 PM MST. Information hours are between 7AM and 3PM MT Monday through Friday.
