- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Presidio of Monterey, Seaside CA, intends to solicit and award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract for SCANTRON hardware and software to SCANTRON Corporation under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Anticipated award date is 15 January 2011. The North American Industry Classification System for this acquisition is 334119, small business size standard: 1,000 employees. Interested parties may submit their capabilities package to the email address below. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. However, the government will consider all responses received within 5 days of publication. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Questions shall be submitted electronically to todd.s.bales@us.army.mil. Requirements includes a OpScan 4 ES OMR dual sided scanner. The OpScan scanner is a dual sided desktop scanner that offers Pencil read and scans at the rate of 2800 sheets per hour. Further, the acquisition includes ScanTools Plus Application Development software.
